Check Out The 'Game Of Thrones' Opening Credits In 360 Video

The captivating opening credits for Game of Thrones, which introduces viewers to the world of Westeros and its many kingdoms, is now available in 360 degrees.

Just in time for the new season later this month, the 360-degree video lets viewers see one of television’s best opening equences in a whole new way.

The world depicted in Game of Thrones is famously complex and vast, with dozens of characters and their interwoven royal families to follow. Once hooked on the television show, the opening credits serve as a kind of map to the various kingdoms that can be studied week after week for a better understanding of the universe. George R.R. Martin, the author of the books Game of Thrones is based upon, can spend thousands of pages unfolding his universe over the course of several books, but television viewers don’t have that much time.  So the opening credits have served as a quick catchup on both the universe and its families. I’m curious if viewing this video in a VR headset can offer an even deeper understanding, more quickly, of the world.
