I have a confession to make: this headline is kind of a lie. The video that’s embedded above isn’t actually 30 minutes, it’s a little bit shorter, but it just sounded better to describe it that way. For this horrible act of deception I am truly sorry, but your click will soon pay off as we do have a whole bunch of unedited gameplay footage for the upcoming zombie shooter, Killing Floor: Incursion. The video includes a full solo playthrough of the opening Farmhouse level from start to finish.
In Killing Floor: Incursion you can play through levels either by yourself in Solo mode (shown above) or cooperatively with another person. As you make your way through each of the levels (split into three parts each: start, midpoint, and boss encounter) you’ll have to solve puzzles, mow down tons of zombies (known as zeds in the Killing Floor mythos), and make your way through a constantly glitching series of simulations.
Earlier this year at the 2017 Game Developers Conference (GDC) we saw the latest demo of Killing Floor: Incursion which featured the Catacombs level and then all the way back at Oculus Connect 3 (OC3) almost a year ago we saw an old version of the Farmhouse level that was much shorter and streamlined, but the current build we’re playing from is 100% review-ready.
You’ll have to wait a little bit longer before we can let you know what we think of the entire game, but in the meantime watch us slay some horrible zombies in this unedited bit of gameplay footage. If you listen closely you can even hear me let out some frightened yells and sighs of relief occasionally.
Killing Floor: Incursion releases tomorrow on August 16th for Oculus Rift with Touch on Oculus Home for $40. Let us know what you think of the game so far from what you’ve seen down in the comments below and we’ll answer any questions you have leading up to our review!
