Arizona Sunshine: Dead Man Is A Prequel DLC Mission Coming Soon

Reload your pistols and stock up on grenades; a brand new Arizona Sunshine campaign mission is on the way.

Developers Vertigo Games and Jaywalkers Interactive today announced Arizona Sunshine: Dead Man, a brand new level that will arrive as DLC for the original game. Set in the final days before the zombie apocalypse — and serving as a prequel to the main campaign — the DLC takes place at a US missile base where US soldiers attempt to push back the zombie hordes. You’re tasked with clearing the base of enemies and then launching a missile that could stop the spread of the undead virus.

The new level will also feature new weapons, including an automatic submachine gun, two-handed shotgun and tactical handgun as well as three new masks.

This is great news for VR shooter fans; the original Arizona Sunshine won our Game of the Year award back in 2016 and proved to be a hit with Rift and Vive owners. A PSVR port was released in mid-2017 with support for the PlayStation Aim controller and a Windows VR release followed towards the end of the year.

Dead Man will be on display at Valve’s booth at GDC next week, presumably on the Vive Pro (we’ve reached out to Vertigo to confirm). It’s set to arrive on PSVR, Rift, Vive and Windows this Spring for $2.49.
