The Biggest PSVR Releases Of The Week 04/29/18

Get your wallet out; there’s plenty of great stuff arriving on PlayStation VR this week. From zombie-slaying to, uh, pirate flying, there’s bound to be something you’ll want to check out this week.

Killing Floor: Incursion, from Tripwire Interactive
Price: $29.99

The PC VR shooter finally makes its way over to PSVR with pleasing results. Killing Floor: Incursion is a spooky shooter in which you dual-wield weapons, gunning down horrific enemies across a story-driven adventure. If you’ve been looking for a great campaign for your PSVR recently, this is a great choice.

Pirate Flight VR, from Andreas von Lepel
Price: $14.99

This looks like a pretty simplistic flying game in which you tackle race courses by flying through floating rings. We’re not exactly sure what pirates have to do with it other than your main character has an eyepatch (which, in theory, should seriously mess with your vision but we won’t complain). There are 90 missions here, but we’d assume it’s safe to skip this one.

Battlezone: Gold Edition, from Rebellion Entertainment
Price: $34.99

Rebellion’s popular PSVR launch title gets a brand new version that can also be played outside of the headset. In Battlezone you hop into the cockpit of a tank and fight your way through a procedurally-generated campaign, blasting enemies to pieces. This Gold Edition includes all previous updates to the game, too.

Ghostbusters VR: Firehouse + Showdown Bundle, from Sony Pictures
Price: $9.99 (now available in the EU)

Two episodes of Sony’s Ghostbusters VR experience are now bundled into one. They take you on a virtual tour of the whacky world of ghosts and ghouls. They’re not essential VR by any means, but worth checking out if you’re a fan of the series.
