The Biggest PSVR Releases Of The Week 11/05/17

It’s a pretty interesting collection of PSVR releases this week. We’ve got the release of the new PSVR demo disc and League of War among some smaller releases. If you missed last week’s releases then you can see them here. UploadVR has also launched the ‘UploadVR PSVR Community’ on PlayStation 4! Join up, find other gamers to play with, and engage in discussions with them.

PlayStation VR Demo Collection 2, from various developers
Price: Free

One year on from PlayStation VR’s launch and Sony is updating the demo disc that comes with the headset and has also released it on the PlayStation Store. This includes a glimpse at lots of games that are already available, but also provides the first playable glimpse of Moss, Star Child and more.

League of War: VR Arena, from MunkyFun
Price: $19.99

Feel like the coolest armchair general around with this stylish strategy game in which you deploy units on the board and try to take out your enemy’s base. With a full single player campaign and even local multiplayer with PSVR’s social screen option, there’s plenty for you to try here if you think it might be your thing.

Discovery, from NOOWANDA
Price: $11.99 (US only)

Minecraft sadly doesn’t look like it’s coming to PSVR any time soon, so fans will have to settle for one of its many, many imitators. Discovery looks like a straight-up translation of Mojang’s blocky world to VR. There’s online multiplayer support and endless worlds to build.

Ghosts in the Toybox: Chapter 1, from Viewpoint Games
Price: $14.99

The developers of VR Karts return with a quirky wave shooter. Fight off nightmarish creatures in your attic. It started life as a Gear VR game so that should give you a good idea of what to expect – a pretty simplistic shooter.
