Not a whole lot to talk about this week, but there is at least one anticipated arrival that you should be paying attention to (hint: it’s not Ark Park).
If you missed last week’s releases they’re here. And don’t forget that UploadVR has a Steam community group, complete with a curated list of recommendations so that you don’t have to waste any money finding out what’s good in the world of VR. We also have a top list of the absolute best Oculus Rift and HTC Vive games at the corresponding links.
Ark Park, from Snail Games
Price: $39.99 (Rift, Vive, Windows)
A spin-off to Ark: Survival Evolved, Ark Park is one-part exploration game, one part VR wave shooter. You journey to a virtual vacation park where you can get up close and personal with prehistoric beasts and learn about them, then kill them all in beacon defense missions. Neither aspect of the game is all the compelling and it’s massively overpriced, so we’d suggest skipping it despite the nice visuals.

The latest from Vive Studios sees HTC team with Stem creator Sixense for a VR archery experience. SiegeVR puts your bow and arrow skills to the test with single and multiplayer modes in which you hit targets as quickly as possible across a range of different challenges. If you like VR archery games, it’s sure to be your thing.
