Felix & Paul Studios has pulled in some A-list talent to narrate its latest VR series.
Space Explorers: A New Dawn, a new series produced in partnership with Oculus and NASA, features the voice of soon-to-be Captain Marvel star, Brie Larson, Deadline reports. The actress narrates the first two episodes of the series which made their initial debut at the Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year and are now available on the Oculus Store.
The company’s latest production gives viewers a look into cutting-edge space exploration. Accompanied by NASA astronauts like Sunita Williams, Jeanette Epps, Victor Glover, Michael Gernhardt and Jessica Meir, the audience gets a first-hand look at training for missions as well as an overview on the mission of Mars.
“I am in awe of the NASA astronauts and their incredible commitment to the rigorous training required for their extremely challenging missions,” said Larson in a statement. “Narrating the Space Explorers virtual reality series was a unique opportunity and gave me an intimate appreciation for these real-life superheroes and the sacrifices they make on behalf of our country, the field of space exploration and the scientific community.”
Space Explorers is available now to download on Oculus Rift, Gear VR and Oculus Go for $2.99.
