Over the course of the last couple weeks Damo3000 has both delighted and incensed thousands of people with his series of images, comics, and videos about the current state of the VR scene. Today Damo3000 released his most recent Final VR Fantastic: Legend of the Crescent Crystal!
This humorous take looks at the events of GDC through the eyes of a Final Fantasy game, documenting Valve’s apparent victory over Oculus at the event as well as giving us reasons to look forward to E3 (as if we needed more!). The video series is not meant to be a slight on Oculus, however, as Damo3000 said in a statment about the video:
“Ok, I’m done digging on Oculus! They have work to do in order to beat GabeZ at E3 so I wont distract with these silly videos! We are all looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us at e3 and beyond! The VR adventure is far from final but it is fantastic!”
