Dead and Buried Update Adds 360-degree Screenshots and More

We liked Oculus Studio’s wild-west themed shooting gallery Dead and Buried when we reviewed it late last year. The newly-released Summer of Bullets update doesn’t re-invent the game, but it does change up a few modes and add two options to share your best gun-slinging moments with your friends.

First up is 360-degree capture support for screenshots and video. Oculus studios also added an in-game gallery to organize and share your clips and pictures, but you can also upload footage to YouTube to share with people who don’t own the game.

Support for mixed reality capture also finds a place in the Dead and Buried update. Most players probably don’t have an in-house green screen studio to take advantage of the new feature, but those that do can now share footage of themselves flailing around with friends and family.

Other changes include the ability to start a round of Dead and Buried’s shootout mode with just three players, a new stage called Purgatory, a quick search for open multiplayer games, and a new level select screen.
