We were expecting an update on Fallout 4 VR at Bethesda’s E3 press conference this year, but the company has gone the extra mile and revealed something new; Doom VFR.
It appears that at least some version of developer id Software’s classic shooter franchise is coming to VR headsets. Last year Bethesda had a virtual tour mode showcasing environments from the 2016 reboot, but it’s not clear how this will differ from that game. It looked like it was using similar weapons and assets to the original, but levels might have been tweaked somewhat at the very least. Whichever way it is, we’ll find out soon; it’s coming this year.
The description for the trailer confirms the game is coming to PlayStation VR (PSVR) and HTC Vive.
