Fancy playing one of VR’s best games and entering to win some prizes while you’re at it? You’re in luck.
Oculus’ third Rift Gold Rush event, in which players can earn rewards just by jumping into a specific game at a specific time, will be taking place inside Ready at Dawn’s Echo Arena. All you need to do is jump inside a public match for the game from 1pm to 2pm PT this Saturday to be in with a chance of winning prizes including new PCs, Rifts, store credit, and even a Golden Account with 100 free games already loaded onto it.
For those that don’t know, Echo Arena is the multiplayer companion to Ready at Dawn’s single-player epic, Lone Echo. It pits players in zero gravity environments in which they played team-based sports. It’s one of the best multiplayer VR games out there and features some of the most immersive locomotion found in any VR app.
Unlike the two previous Gold Rush games, Brass Tactics and Sprint Vector, Echo Arena won’t be getting a free weekend… but that’s just because the game itself is already free. So there’s pretty much no excuse not to jump in for a round this weekend, right?
