After an announcement last week, the Five Night’s At Freddy’s VR DLC titled Curse of the Deadbear is available now for PlayStation VR.
The DLC is not a free update and is a premium DLC, priced at $10, in addition to the base game which is also required. The release was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer, embedded above, that might send some shivers up your spine.
According to the PlayStation store description, Curse of the Deadbear “unlocks a new Halloween themed hub packed with spooky new mini-games and prizes. Weekly content will be added through the month of October 2019.” Given that there’s only roughly a week left in October, we’re not quite sure how many weekly content updates you’ll receive – maybe just one?
The DLC also includes a few new minigames, some of which are listed in the description and titled “Trick or Treat, Mangle Repair, Corn Maze, the Plushkin-Patch [and] “Cap’n Foxy’s Pirate Adventure” dark ride.” The description also says the DLC has “frightening animatronics [including] Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Freddy, Jack-o-Chica, Jack-o-Bonnie, Dreadbear and a few surprises.”
While the game is available from today, the 23rd of October, on the PlayStation VR store, it has yet to appear on the Steam listing for the PC VR version of the game. Hopefully it shows up soon.
Update: The DLC is now available on Steam for PC VR.
