Polyarc’s excellent Moss was one of the starring games among the Oculus Quest launch line-up last month. That was in part down to the release of a free new chapter for the charming third-person adventure. It was initially exclusive to Quest but, from today, you can play it on other platforms.
The Twilight Garden chapter is available today for free on PSVR, Rift, Vive and Windows VR headsets. It’s not a full sequel but it does give you reason to spend a bit longer with Quill. The chapter adds new types of puzzles and enemies to tackle.

That’s not all that’s new in the world of Polyarc, though. The developer also recently announced it’s looking for a Senior Gameplay Designer, Gameplay Enginer and Build Test Engineer. This is to work on both ‘the Moss franchise’ as well as ‘a new project’. It sounds like we’ll be getting both more Moss and something entirely different from the studio, then.
We’re hiring @PolyarcGames to support the Moss franchise and an unannounced project:

We really love Moss. It’s an utterly charming adventure that makes great use of scale in VR. We ended up rewarding it 9/10 in our review.
Polyarc has been teasing more to come for the game ever since its launch last year. Personally, we’re hoping to see a full sequel in the near future.
