HTC Bringing Viveland To Tokyo Game Show And More

Sony isn’t the only VR leader heading to Tokyo Game Show this year; HTC is bringing the Vive to the show too, with a big emphasis on its Viveland arcade.

HTC is bringing a massive booth to this year’s show along with several new games. The recently-released Rez Infinite will be playable, as will Bethesda’s Fallout 4 VR, but we’ll also see some experiences we haven’t yet heard of. According to a translation of GNN Gamer, Assassination of the Classroom VR, VR-AT Simulator, Imprisoned Palm and Real Data Baseball will all be at the show, covering a range of genres in VR.

The company will also use the show to promote Viveland, its Taipei-based VR arcade in which several different experiences can be enjoyed. HTC will show off some of the peripherals it’s using at the space paired with its new Vive Tracker peripheral, which is expected to launch for consumers later this year. Attendees will get to experience a multiplayer VR game at the show.

On top of all of that Vive will also be hosting a livestream at this year’s show highlighting many of the games and experiences its showing off on the show floor. TGS runs from September 21 – 24th and we’re looking forward to plenty of announcements from the show.
