Virtual pinball tables are all well and good, but what if you could turn the ball-bouncing action into a life-sized sport? Hurl VR looks exactly like that.
This new title from Lithuanian developer Rusty Oak is releasing next week on the HTC Vive, and we’ve got a new gameplay trailer below. Hurl’s objectives are simple; throw a ball into a goal, but how you achieve this is a little more complex.
In each of Hurl’s puzzles a number of platforms appear in from the player. The ball cannot enter the goal zone until it’s bounced off of all of these platforms. You’ll need to fine-tune your throwing skills to deliver the right amount of force and accuracy in order to make it through the game.
Hurl will have 30 levels when it launches. It’s interesting to see a game that embraces the more physical side of VR; its developers even say that players of different heights will find varying difficulty in the levels.
Look for Hurl VR on Steam on September 12th.
