Promising immersive cockpit title, Ziggy’s Cosmic Adventures, is coming to Quest 2.
Developer Stardust Collective revealed as much as the Upload VR Showcase today. Check out brand new footage of the PC VR version of the game below.
Ziggy’s Cosmic Adventures Gameplay
The Quest 2 edition should be arriving around the same time as the PC edition in late 2022. Ziggy’s lets you pilot a spaceship that’s being pursued by legions of unhappy aliens. Why, you ask? Because you’ve stolen their adorable little research subject, and they want it back.
But the game isn’t a simple space combat simulator or management sim. Instead, Ziggy’s balances the two by letting you pilot your craft with immersive controls and then walk back and explore your roomscale cockpit, interacting with various other elements. It looks like a game that puts VR design front and center, and we’re looking forward to seeing exactly how Stardust capitalizes on its idea closer to launch next year.
