The next two characters to join Marvel Powers United are two of the brand’s lesser-known heroes.
Inhumans Black Bolt and Crystal are both joining the fray, as revealed in the latest trailer below. For those that don’t know, Inhumans are super-powered beings that are awoken when exposed to a certain substance. Black Bolt is their king, though his voice holds an enormous force that can blow enemies away, leading him to take a vow of silence. Crystal, meanwhile, is able to summon different energies through her hands, emitting fire and more. Their trusty teleporting companion, Lockjaw, also features in the footage.
Though these characters are on the obscure side we’re not surprised to see them join Powers United; both appear in the new Inhumans TV series coming to ABC this month, which debuted in IMAX cinemas last weekend. They join Hulk, Captain Marvel, Rocket Raccoon and Deadpool on the list of playable characters. Marvel’s next big film release is Thor: Ragnarok in November; can we expect the God of Thunder to join the roster around then?
