Kin Is A Stylized VR Puzzle Platformer Coming To Rift And Gear This Year

I first played Land’s End from Monument Valley creators ustwo almost two years ago and I’ve wanted something like it again ever since. While not exactly the same, KIN, an upcoming stylized VR puzzle platformer game from House of Secrets that’s slated to release on the Oculus Rift and Gear VR later this year, could finally scratch that itch.

Here’s the debut teaser trailer for the game:

“The game holds an abstract aesthetic that has become characteristic for the studio through their earlier VR experiences such as APEX and Surge,” says House of Secrets in a prepared statement via email. “Lively colours, intuitive gameplay and interesting level design set the tone for KIN, in which the player moves through the world as a mysterious, tiny girl with big hair, clad in a bright dress. Defeating enemies and solving puzzles, she leaps from platform to platform, travelling through different landscapes.”

KIN is expected to release this fall for both Gear VR and Oculus Rift. What do you think of the idea and art style? Let us know down in the comments below! And you can keep track of the game as it progresses by visiting the official KIN website right here.
