Meta will bundle a year of its fitness service Supernatural for $49.99 with the purchase of a new Quest 2 or Quest 3 system from getsupernatural.com.
Supernatural is a bit like a fitness-focused Beat Saber and, until last month, it was was $19 per month while an annual membership was priced $180. As a standalone service it was doing well enough as a VR-based fitness program that Meta purchased the startup behind it in 2021, kicking off a challenge by the FTC that finally resolved earlier this year.
Just a few weeks ago Meta slashed Supernatural's price to $9.99 monthly or $100 annually. The service offers top tier music set to custom beat maps designed to keep you moving with in-your-ear coaching and a phone app to easily track your fitness achievements.
Now priced just $49.99 for the first year with a new Quest 2 or Quest 3 purchased from get supernatural.com, Meta has wasted no time in testing the market for a fitness-focused version of its VR platform. The new bundle offers one year of Supernatural and 128 GB storage in your headset with a Quest 2 starting at $350 or $550 for Quest 3.
Pricing for the package is listed as low as $32 monthly with Affirm's lending program over one year. A promotional document from Supernatural notes that's "less than most gym memberships".
Separately, Meta is offering its big budget project Asgard's Wrath 2 free with Quest 3 purchases through January 27 and confirmed the deal is stackable with this one. Meta also offers the 512GB model of the XR2 Gen 2-powered Quest 3 headset bundled with a six month subscription to Quest+ and we've asked whether that can be bundled as well.
