Good news for those that like pooping themselves inside VR headsets; new Five Nights at Freddy’s VR DLC is on the way!
Developer Steel Wool Studios last week dropped a teaser trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted – Curse of Dreadbear. The team also confirmed that new content was on the way during last night’s PSVR Awards from PSVR Without Parole.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR DLC Trailer
The trailer teases a giant version of Freddy Fazbear lingering over players. There’s no other details but we’d assume you’re going to have to make sure that thing doesn’t kill you. Something will probably try and scare you too.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR has been one of the most consistent best-sellers on PSVR since it launched earlier this year. We’re not surprised to see it get new DLC, all things considered. No word yet on if this will release as a free update to existing owners of the game or if it will be a premium piece of DLC.
A release date for the DLC hasn’t been revealed. Judging by the trailer, it could be aiming for a release on Halloween. Elsewhere, Five Nights at Freddy’s VR was recently confirmed for Oculus Quest. Again, no word on when it will hit the platform but hopefully it’s not too far off. We’re also not sure if the game will be releasing on PC-based headsets. Last month an AR version of the game was confirmed too.
