Deisim is one of the more curious highlights, giving us a god simulator from the VR perspective as you watch over your AI villagers or destroy the society they build. Mass Exodus is a fun 1v1 experience that adopts a play style utilized in games like Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th where the VR user hunts the PC player as he attempts to escape a factory.

inVR is a platform where creators can publish and display their many 3D art installations. The app claims to currently has work from over 200,000 members of the community — it works outside of VR too according to the Steam page.
Recommendation: Cool look into 3D art in a virtual space. For exactly zero dollars.
Smash Party VR, from Viacom Next
Price: Free
The Smash Party is a regular event hosted by Titmouse, an animation company, where people destroy all kinds of things. They teamed up with Viacom Next to put together this smashing virtual experience based on the real event.
Recommendation: Smash Party VR is free so don’t miss giving it a try.

Engage in the age old hunting tradition in Wild Game Hunter VR as you seek out and take down your game in this virtual woodland.
Recommendation: Production quality leaves much to be desired. Pass on this one. We’re still waiting on that VR hunting killer app.

In this sandbox experience, you can create your own Christmas ornaments and decorate your virtual space freely.
Recommendation: Festive creative fun for the family. Not much here if you’re looking for something meaty, though.

Cosmos Crash VR brings a sci-fi feel to the casual match-three genre. Quickly match the colors in 10 different areas that require different strategies to clear the marbles.
Recommendation: Simple, but good fun if you’re a big puzzle game fan. Not a terribly inventive use of VR.

Within 4 levels players are tasked with protecting their vehicle from a diverse collection of creatures, earning as much experience as possible, and using earned credits to upgrade equipment.
Recommendation: Feels cheap and thrown together. Pass.

Danger Room, from Actually Sane Studios

Sadly not based on the infamous danger room utilized by comic book’s favorite mutants, this Danger Room pits you against waves of turrets as you slow time, dodge lasers, and suck in bullets to return fire.
Recommendation: The ammo quirk makes this a fun deviation from the usual defense shooter. Grab it if you’re running low on stuff to play.

Live out that one dream you had and play as the gigantic monster that ravages a city in VR Monster Awakens.
Recommendation: In Early Access and you should definitely keep your eye on it to see if value grows.

Line up your shot in your own personal bowling alley. Offers modes that cater to room-scale, standing, and sitting VR modes along with humorous animated pins.
Recommendation: It’s something different for a VR bowling game — keep an eye on it.

Recommendation: Snatch this up and dance with no shame.

Last week, we highlighted a few VR experiences that provided escapes from the real world in calm environments. House of Meditation offers 8 locations for that same purpose with a calming voice as a guide to inner peace.
Recommendation: A peaceful ordeal worth adding to your collection if you don’t have a different meditation app of choice already.
Holiday Simulator: Wacky Sleigh Ride, from Hyperator VR Innovation Labs

Wacky Sleigh Ride is a Christmas theme on-rails shooter where you toss presents from your sleigh into houses. Do as much as you can before the sun comes up and work up the leaderboards.
Recommendation: Casual fun but nothing amazing. Lacks staying power.

Guide the ball through various mazes by controlling the maze’s orientation with the motion controller. This is the immersive VR version of a classic past-time that drops you into exciting settings.
Recommendation: Responsive and fun, but may be a bit pricey unless you’re really into mazes.

Another escapism experience gives you an island of experiences like bowling and archery to keep yourself entertained. Currently in early access and the team is working the community on new ideas.

Engage in your brutal fantasy as you enter the coliseum and fight for your survival. Severe limbs in this bloody sword fighting simulator set in ancient Rome and face other fighters and even tigers.

This pixelated casual shooter gives you rocket launchers for arms and lasers for eyes as you take down waves of flying objects while eating as many tacos as you can. Climb the leaderboards in Survival or Time Attack modes.
Recommendation: A steal for the price. It’s Taco Tuesday every day with this one.
Robot City Stadium, from Virtual Vengeance

Engage in the Tron-like disc combat game with Robot City Stadium. Train against bots until you’re ready to take on other players in this competitive experience.
Recommendation: May experience some network issues, but those will likely be ironed out during Early Access. Grab it.

President Erect VR is a lewd casual game where you can punch away your frustrations at Trump with your hands or a collection of celebrity dildos.

Heavy Impact thrusts you into the ring as a robot boxer. Bob, weave, slow down time, and strike as you become the best fighter in the competition.
Recommendation: Keep an eye on this as it develops in Early Access. Could turn into one of the better brawlers.

Use machine guns, rockets, and grenades to take down the quirky gooblins in this defense shooter. Survive fireballs, plasma, and kamikaze attacks as you climb the leaderboards.

In these dark Crypts, you’ll use swords and sorcery to survive the vicious creatures that await you in the shadows.
Recommendation: Rough work in progress. May improve, so pass for now.

VR-Xterminator brings pixelated classic arcade flavor to VR in this indie shooter. Control your platform and engage enemies while managing an active reload system to work your way up to a high score.
Recommendation: It’s another wave shooter. Are you tired of them yet?

We reviewed Eagle Flight on Oculus Rift and PS VR before and now this fun flight has come to HTC Vive. Explore this world devoid of humans and see incredible sights as an eagle.
Recommendation: A bit pricey, but the sense of flight and the intense action is certainly recommended.

Defend Smoots from a horde of zombies by using your tennis racket to deflect fireballs into the shambling monsters.

In SwingStar players user a sticky hand to grappel and swing around the cartoon word. Includes 24 levels, mysterious doors to secret levels, and 72 stars to collect to unlock a new world.
Recommendation: Reminds of classic platformers at times. We recommend picking this one up if you don’t get motion sick.

It’s time for someone to defend the world against an alien invasion. Your reflexes will be pushed to the limits as you embrace the role of a robot and take down waves of drones as you prove you’re worthy of the task.

In this virtual experience, have anime themed women cheer you on as you work out in virtual spaces through various mini-games. Can’t help you if you eat pizza too much (developer’s note).
Recommendation: Pass. Mini-games are better represented and more responsive in other titles.

This visually stimulating virtual experience tasks you with collecting lost memories through a serious of puzzles. Teleport to different areas via artifacts and figure out the strange world of Picturesque.
Recommendation: Intriguing adventure game that last about 30 minutes or so. Decent price for that length here.

Even in Early Access, the developers of QuiVR are trying to produce the definitive VR archery experience. Finally releasing outside of the free demo, the game features drop in/out multiplayer, customizable gear, spectator mode, and more.
Recommendation: Great physics and lots of fun. Definitely a must have.

Arcane is a frantic wave shooter that swaps lasers for swords and shields. You’re given the option of a more active play-style where you dodge as well as fight, but you can also just deflect and take enemies down.
Recommendations: One of the more unique wave shooters. Worth grabbing if you’re not buried in the genre yet.

In Random Journey, players fight against more than 40 characters by choosing from mysterious plates.
Recommendations: Not very fun considering every single decision is luck based. It’s also keyboard/mouse only.
