New PSVR Releases For The Week Of 04/02/17

New PSVR Releases For The Week Of 04/02/17

Grab your move controllers and prepare to reload; things are getting all shooty this week on PSVR. There’s just one new game release but it’s bound to make those of you begging for more first-person shooters happy. For the rest of you there are some intriguing new experiences, though the curse of region differences strikes again, sadly.

If you missed last week, you can see those new releases here. Also, UploadVR has launched the ‘UploadVR PS VR Community’ on PlayStation 4! Join up, find other gamers to play with, and engage in discussions with them.

Also, don’t forget to check out our list of the 9 Best PlayStation VR Games if you need any extra inspiration.

Mortal Blitz, from Skonec Entertainment
Price: $19.99 (Only in US)

Grab a pair of Move controllers or a DualShock 4 and strap in for a Time Crisis-esque shooter. Set in a distant future, Mortal Blitz has you battling high-tech soldiers and terrifying monsters using pistols, miniguns, shot guns, and an anti-gravity leash. It’s a little too simple, but it’s still pretty fun.

Recommendation: A good game to keep you busy while we wait for bigger and better things.

Atlantic Productions VR Experiences
Price: Various (EU Only)

Atlantic Productions has three new VR apps this week for those that are interested in the experiential side of PSVR. You can get up close with sharks in Cocos Shark Island (£3.69), dive even deeper into the sea with Atomic Ghost Fleet (£3.69), and even go on a history lesson with none other than Sir David Attenborough (£5.35).

Recommendation: We’d recommend going with the David Attenborough experience of the three, though none are essential.
