There’s really only one new title this week for PlayStation VR (PSVR), but at least it’s a big one. Starblood Arena is finally here! There have been some launch issues, but those will likely get squared away in due time. If you’re not a big fan of shooters then you’re out of luck because Starblood Arena, as the name suggests, is all about fast, frenetic combat.

Starblood Arena, from Sony Interactive Entertainment
Price: $39.99
This is the first of Sony’s bigger upcoming PSVR titles. Starblood Arena is a 6 degrees of freedom (6DOF) shooter that puts you in a massive flying mech robot and has you soar through a litany of different combat arenas. There are various game modes that include single player, competitive multiplayer, and cooperative gameplay.
Recommendation: Once the server issues get fully sorted this will be a game to watch. You can read our review-in-progress for our thoughts thus far.
