République developer Camouflaj is getting into VR with a port of its popular dystopian stealth series.
République VR for Gear VR was announced on-stage at Oculus Connect yesterday. The developer is bringing the full experience over to the VR containing all five episodes of the original series and promising 10 to 15 hours of gameplay. You can check out the first trailer for it below.
In the game, you play as Hope, a young revolutionary that uses her stealth and hacking skills to challenge a totalitarian society. As you can see from the trailer, players use the Gear VR’s new motion controller to command Hope from a third-person perspective.
République VR is due for release first on Gear VR this winter. Other platforms haven’t yet been confirmed but it certainly sounds like they’re possible.
