John Carmack just announced at his talk “The Dawn of Mobile VR” that Oculus will be going for the consumer with the next GearVR release! The release is expected to come towards the end of 2015, so mobile VR is going to take a bit more time then expected to reach a consumer market. Nevertheless, this is great news.
