Interested early adopters can pre-order a bundle of the Rift and an Oculus Ready PC from ASUS, Alienware or Dell starting February 16 at 8 a.m. PST. The bundles can be ordered from Best Buy, Amazon and the Microsoft Store starting at around $1,500.
According to Oculus, the bundles will ship from retail partners in April “in limited quantities to select countries”. Those who already pre-ordered the Rift from the right regions can also purchase a discounted Oculus Ready PC by opting into partner offers. You can do that by editing your order status.
Facebook’s VR division also detailed specifications on some of the first Oculus Ready machines. The program was started to make it easier for consumers to buy a machine that will run Rift experiences well because they meet the recommended system specifications. Check out the systems here:
