UPDATE: After reaching out to B&H we have learned that their earlier description stating that the Touch controllers were included was a mistake. This is the old Rift headset with Xbox controller SKU. This article has been updated.
B&H Photo Video are currently offering the Oculus Rift without Touch for $340. Instead of Touch and 2 sensors, the package contains an Xbox controller and 1 sensor.
Note that this is not a good deal unless you were intending to buy an Xbox controller anyways, or just want to use the Rift for seated experiences such as flight simulators. If you intend to use Touch, you should buy from a retailer which offers the full Rift+Touch package such as Amazon or Best Buy.
B&H has not stated how long the deal will last other than to say that there is “limited supply at this price”. We’re not sure why B&H has the old Rift with Xbox controller SKU from 18 months ago as a “new arrival” when all other retailers sell the new Rift+Touch bundle instead – this is strange indeed.
