We’ve played a lot of competitive VR shooters over the last couple of years. We’ve also played a lot of bow and arrow-focused VR games, too. But what we haven’t played a lot of are competitive VR shooters with a focus on bow and arrow combat. It’s a perfect fit, but oVRshot is a rare breed in the current VR market.
In this shooter you end up on either one of two teams and can pick different classes that each have their own unique arrow abilities, like the power to create a shield or a smoke screen. We had a lot of fun with it when we previewed the game before it launched. Since then, one of our biggest issues has been addressed: it now has smooth locomotion instead of just teleporting.

Robots aren’t allowed to fight each other in oVRshot, even though that’s what the player character looks like.

All codes are being distributed on a first come, first served basis. If your friends don’t all get one, they can still buy a copy of their own on Steam for $19.99. Since it’s in Early Access still that means it’s still being developed and you should expect gradual updates over time.
