The headline really says it all on this one. Overnight, Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey tweeted confirmation that it is him in one of the best VR reaction videos we’ve seen in a long time.
Our translation skills aren’t the best, but it seems he was playing a game called Escape Ward Omega at VR Zone in Japan. He praised the experience as being “the most terrifying thing I have done in a long time!”

The shaking feet, the multiple levels of fear on display, the man laughing in the background, the fact that he’s using an HTC Vive and not his own company’s Oculus Rift — everything about this video is pure gold. Luckey has been the biggest evangelist on the planet for virtual reality, finding himself on the cover of Time magazine, for example. But there’s nothing quite like screaming inside a headset to spread the word about how immersive an experience in virtual reality can be.
