Sony typically goes big with PSVR Black Friday deals and 2019 will be no exception, it seems.
As we already reported in our Black Friday deals roundup post, the three-year-old headset will be down to $199.99 at retailers from November 24th – December 2nd. Not only that but this deal comes bundled with some of PSVR’s best games, including Astro Bot, Resident Evil 7, Skyrim VR, Everybody’s Golf and PSVR Worlds. Initially, we said this deal would be live at Target but Sony just confirmed it will be elsewhere, too.
New PSVR Black Friday Deals
What we didn’t know, though, is that there’s another PSVR bundle on offer. This time it’s for a headset with two PlayStation Move motion controllers and two games: Blood & Truth and Everybody’s Golf VR, for $249.99. That might be $50 more than for the other deal but the addition of Move controllers really makes it worth it. Not to mention that Blood & Truth is one of PSVR’s newest and best games.
So that’s the PSVR sorted, but what about the extras? Well the standard PS4 is going for $199 with some great non-VR games bundled. That makes getting a PS4 and PSVR cheaper than getting an Oculus Quest this Black Friday. You can also pick up PS4 Pro for $299.99, though no games are bundled. You also might want to consider that, if you haven’t got any of this stuff yet, you might want to hold out an extra year for the PS5.
You can also get a DualShock 4 controller for $39.99, though there aren’t many PSVR games that would require two or more of those.
As for games? There’s not much to talk about. The recently-released Concrete Genie will be down to $19.99 and offers a small VR option. You might be better off taking advantage of the 25% off of PlayStation Plus, which will get you online with multiplayer VR games.
