Beat Saber Slashes The Competition In September PlayStation Charts

Beat Saber Slashes The Competition In September PlayStation Charts

In both the US and EU PlayStation store charts, Beat Saber was the top selling PlayStation VR game of last month.

This is not new territory for Beat Games’ hit rhythm title. In the US store charts, this is the third consecutive month Beat Saber nabbed the top selling position on the PSVR charts. It’s also charted at number one in the US for several other months of the year so far. On the European charts, it’s not had quite the same success of being consistently number one, but it has charted in the top ten consistently.

Beat Saber has been available for quite some time now, but it seems that not even newly available games could knock it from first place this month. L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files finally got a PS VR release on September 24, but it wasn’t able to take the top spot. It did manage to chart in both the US and EU top 10, which is impressive given that it was only available for purchase in the last week of the month.

When it comes to other titles, the US and EU charts share quite a few of the charting games, albeit with differences in their placement on the top 10. Superhot VR, Job Simulator, Blood & Truth, Five Night’s at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, Vacation Simulator, L.A. Noir: The Case Files, Creed: Rise to Glory all appear on both PSVR top 10 lists for September.

Drunkn Bar Fight and Just In Time Incorporated round out the US top 10, with Gun Club VR and Crisis VRigade rounding out the EU top 10.

What PSVR titles did you buy this month, and how are you finding them? Let us know in the comments.
