PSVR Rick And Morty Collector's Edition Is $50, Includes Figure And Poster

Owlchemy Labs’ Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality makes the jump to PlayStation VR on April 10.

Brought over to PS VR by Other Ocean Group, the digital release is also complemented by a physical release the same day for $30, plus a “limited” collector’s edition for $50. The collectibles included with that version are a “Funko Pop! Rick and Morty vinyl figure and an exclusive double-sided poster featuring Rick and Morty comic book cover art.”

There have been other special editions released for VR titles but this is the first time we’ve seen a collector’s edition of this kind for a title exclusive to VR. The game originally released last year for Rift and Vive, but its coming availability on PlayStation VR is likely to draw a lot of attention due to its larger install base. We’ve asked for a photo of the collectibles.

Owlchemy Labs first released Job Simulator in 2016, reaching major sales milestones, and was acquired by Google last year. Google now owns a number of the most popular VR apps, with the Texas-based Owlchemy team joining the teams behind VR’s first popular art app, Tilt Brush, along with Google Earth and Blocks. Owlchemy most recently revealed plans for a sequel, Vacation Simulator.
