PSVR’s Bravo Team Is Getting An Aim Controller Bundle At GameStop

by Jamie Feltham • February 2nd, 2018

Supermassive Games’ next big PSVR game, Bravo Team, is just over a month away from release, and you’ll be able to pick it up with the PS Aim controller that it’s played with in a new package deal.

Sony this week announced what retailers have long been listing ahead of time; an Aim Controller bundle that includes a copy of the new shooter. In the US it’s set to arrive on March 6th at GameStop though, from what we can tell, in the EU it will be available pretty much everywhere too. A price hasn’t been announced just yet for the US, though UK sites list it between £49.99 – £59.99, so you can expect it to be in the $49.99 – $59.99 range.

This is the second bundle to feature the Aim controller, the first being last year’s Farpoint. The rifle-shaped peripheral enhances immersion in VR shooters, allowing you to realistically aim weapons, and also features dual analog sticks.

In Bravo Team players are part of a military unit fighting their way through intense combat scenarios. The game features a node-based locomotion system that encourages players to move between cover points to flank opponents.

Last week saw Supermassive release its other new PSVR game, The Inpatient.

I’ve got my aim shooter as xmas present. Otherwise i wouldnt have bought it honestly. Now i can tell that actually it is the best thing psvr has on offer. It is million times better to have gun peripheral than holding vive wand. Dont get me wrong, I love my vive too and keen onward player. But aim shooter just is sooo much nicer to hold and play with it. I am definitely getting Bravo team on day 1.

    I think you mean “GameStop”

Not sure how well this game will review, going off of the lackluster release of The Inpatient. I hope it’s longer and has more stuff to do. The Inpatient was just such a let down in both characters and length, especially at $40.

And about time too. In Aus, the only way to get a Aim controller has been bundled with farpoint. They stopped selling that bundle a few months back, due to the new Bravo Team bundle that was supposed to come out for the holidays. Then the game got delayed, and the bundle too, and since the Farpoint bundle had been phased out we haven’t been able to buy an Aim controller anywhere here for quite a while now.
