Two of PlayStation VR’s (PSVR’s) biggest holiday releases are no longer holiday releases.
PlayStation Europe just tweeted to confirm that The Inpatient and Bravo Team, two games from Until Dawn developer Supermassive Games, will now be releasing in 2018. The Inpatient will now be launching on January 24th, while Bravo Team has been pushed back all the way to March 7th.
The news is somewhat unexpected, as both games were expected to launch in just a few weeks’ time and were shown to press at the start of this month. Sony noted that the delays had been made to give the developer more time to improve the experiences.
The release dates for #PlayStationVR titles The Inpatient and Bravo Team have moved.
The Inpatient will now launch on 24th Jan and Bravo Team will launch on 7th March.
The delay is to give the development teams extra time to make the games as enjoyable for players as possible.

The Inpatient is a prequel to the studio’s popular Until Dawn series and sees players trying to escape a mental asylum. Bravo Team, meanwhile, is a straight-faced military shooter that uses the new Aim Controller bundled with copies of Farpoint.
PSVR isn’t being left out in the cold this Christmas, though; next week will see Bethesda launch The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR on the platform and just a few weeks later it’ll release Doom VFR too. Still, we can’t deny it’s a shame that we’ll be waiting a bit longer for the next Supermassive game.
