Rift Owners Should Start Receiving $15 Of Free Oculus Credit Today

On March 7th, 2018 almost every single Oculus Rift around the world was rendered unusable thanks to a code expiration. Late that night (into the morning of March 8th) the headset creator finally issued a patch to fix the issue, along with the promise of $15 in free Oculus store credit.

Starting today, that free credit is rolling out to Rift owners. If you’re eligible (meaning you used your Rift at least once on or after February 1st, 2018 up until March 8th) then you should have gotten an email that looks something like this:

You don’t have to actually do anything at all to receive the $15 of store credit — it will automatically appear in your Oculus Account. If you’re torn on what to buy with that credit, take a look at our list of suggestions or our list of the best Rift games out there right now.
