Samsung made the first major announcement of Oculus Connect with a $99 Gear VR that works with with the Note 5, S6 Edge+, S6 and S6 Edge.
The new device doesn’t have a strap that goes over your head and the headset is 22 percent lighter overall with a redesigned interface on the side of the headset. It’ll be out “in time for Black Friday” in the United States and launched worldwide shortly after.
