A likable bit of VR archery madness is on its way to PSVR in the form of Sacralith: The Archer’s Tale.
Developer Odd Meter recently confirmed to us that the console version of the game is coming in early December. Sacralith first launched on PC VR headsets back in 2018. The game is a bow and arrow shooter in which you take down legions of guards swarming in from every angle. Select between different arrows and take them down as fast as possible; as simple as that. Check out the trailer below.
We know, it sounds very 2018 in terms of VR game design and it is. But Sacralith also offers a story-driven campaign. All of that was enough to earn it a ‘Very Good’ average rating on Steam and a 4+ star rating on the Oculus Store. We haven’t reviewed it ourselves, though, so we can’t comment on the final comment.
That said, it is a VR archery game so you should know what to expect; nock an arrow, pull back, aim and release. It’s always felt great in VR and we probably won’t stop doing it anytime soon.
PSVR fans have a few other games to look forward to this December. We know, for example, that the PSVR port of Fujii will be with us soon. Stardust Odyssey and Hatsune Miku VR are also launching on the headset this week. Not a bad way to see out the year, all things considered.
