3rd Eye Studios’ Downward Spiral: Horus Station has to be one of our most anticipated VR games on the horizon right now, and we’ve just got a fresh look at it.
The developer is today launching a series of diaries chronicling the making of its sci-fi adventure. In this first episode, the team’s Sound Designer, Can Uzer, talks about engineering audio in the depths of space. There’s plenty of new gameplay footage of the zero-gravity experience across the three-minute clip. Unsurprisingly, Uzer mentions classic deep space horror, Dead Space, as an inspiration for the game’s audio.
Downward Spiral: Horus Station is set to arrive on PSVR, Vive, Rift and Windows this Spring, with non-VR modes enabled on PS4 and PC, too.
