Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire takes the fight to the crypts, offering a brand new VR horror game on Quest 2.

Revealed alongside a new I Expect You To Die 3 trailer during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire is the latest VR title from Among Us VR developer Schell Games. Described as a "suspenseful single-player, jumpscare game," this horror title tasks you with slaying sleeping Vampires before they wake up, carefully opening coffins and disarming traps to stake them through the heart. Here's the announcement trailer:

"Given the level of immersion VR provides, we've always wanted to try our hand at creating a horror-inspired game that tests a player's skill, patience, and tenacity," says Adam Whalen, Project Director for Silent Slayer in a prepared statement. "Tension builds with each move and silence and precision are crucial to survival. We can't wait to share more about the game and for players to check it out for themselves."

Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire is coming to Quest 2 and Quest Pro though a release window remains unconfirmed. Meta also announced Quest 3 earlier today, so expect to see Silent Slayer on that headset as well, if it launches after Quest 3 ships this fall.
