Skyrim VR Coming To Rift, Vive and Windows MR On April 3

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR is now available for pre-purchase on Steam for $59.99. The game came to PSVR last year, but its expansion onto PC VR platforms, with official listings for Rift, Windows MR and HTC Vive, marks a big moment.

We can’t wait to see what the game looks like on Rift and Vive, let alone the prospect of visiting that world on something like the Samsung Odyssey or Vive Pro. The traditional PC version of Skyrim remains one of the most modified titles in existence, so it will also be interesting to see what dedicated fans might try to bring to the official VR version of the game. Skyrim VR includes the game’s official expansions — Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn — but we don’t have any word yet on whether mods will work. Mods don’t work with the PSVR version.
