Oculus and Steam might have had their summer sales come and go, but the sunshine’s only just starting in Sony camp. Or it is in Europe, at least.
The EU Summer Sale on the PlayStation Store is now on and it’s got some frankly unmissable deals for PlayStation VR (PSVR). A total of 30 games have had their prices slashed, and it’s not all just the usual launch titles that you’ll have played to death by now.
Take Star Trek: Bridge Crew, for example. Ubisoft’s dream-fulfilling co-op game has had 25% taken off its price just a few months after release, now available for £29.99. VR FPS Farpoint is down in price, too, at £34.99 (though we wouldn’t recommend picking it up without the Aim Controller peripheral, which remains out of stock). The excellent VR add-on for Dirt Rally is also available, as is charmingly inventive puzzler, Statik.
Don’t miss out on some of VR’s most underrated gems, either. Ubisoft’s Werewolves Within is cheaper than ever, as is Supermassive Games’ Tumble VR and The Brookhaven Experiment, which will soon be getting Aim support.
It’s a great time to bulk up on your PSVR back catalog, then. That said you might want to save your money for some new releases; the excellent Superhot VR arrives on the headset today as does Archangel, and there’s plenty more on the horizon.
