It’s time to suit up and uh, sit down? Six Flag’s newest VR roller coaster will let you take to the skies with both Superman and Wonder Woman.
Debuting this week, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s latest attraction, DC Super Heroes Drop of Doom VR, allows you to team up with two of the most iconic comic book characters out there (sorry, Batfans). Superman and Wonder Woman join forces to repel a robot invasion at the hands of Lex Luthor, and you’ll fall 400 feet at 85 mph as they do battle. Similar takes on Drop of Doom have already been shown off at other Six Flags park across the US, but the DC version makes its debut for a limited time here.
On the ride, users will be fitted with smartphone-based VR headsets (Gear VR units, to be specific). Inside VR, Luthor will zap them with a gravity gun that sends them hurtling to the top of Metropolis before they come crashing down. Check out the action in the trailer above.
