Tale of Tables Wants To Bring Tabletop Gaming To PSVR

If you were a fan of the miniature VR world of Moss, then you might want to take a look at Table of Tale: The Crooked Crown.

Announced this week for PlayStation VR (PSVR) and developed by Tin Man Games, Table of Tales wants to bring the world of tabletop gaming to life inside VR. The game is described as an adventure RPG in which players build a party of Scoundrels and pit them in battles across the Crown Islands. Combat takes the form of tactical turn-based battles that evolve as you roll the dice.

The entire game is set on a magical table that transforms its surface as you move to different areas and meet new characters. Travel to a new town, for example, and blocks and buildings will spring up from the pool of water below, giving you an entirely new environment to explore from the comfort of your seat.

Scoundrels include several classes of characters such as sorcerers, brawlers, potion brewers and more. Each is their own specific character that you’ll get to know as you progress through the story.

No release date for the game has been announced yet, though Tin Man says it will be “bringing all this to you very soon.”
