The Big Releases

Killing Floor: Incursion, from Tripwire Interactive
Price: $39.99 (Rift)

The popular survival horror franchise makes its VR debut as a first-person shooter controlled with the Oculus Touch controllers. This is an original entry in the series with a story-driven adevnture and a deep mystery right at its heart. Gun down hordes of terrifying enemies and then team up with friends to do it all again.

Recommendation: We quite like Killing Floor. Give it a look if you’re brave enough.

Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul, from VRWERX
Price: $39.99 (Currently discounted)

The popular horror movie franchise makes its way to VR headsets for the first time. The Lost Soul has been built from the ground up for VR and tells an original story in which you explore what at first seems to be an idyllic home in a neighborhood. It’s not long before things go wrong, though, and you find yourself up against the terror.

Recommendation: Only for those brave enough. The first time we saw it demoed a woman threw off her headset in terror.

Chocolate, from Viacom NEXT
Price: $1.99 (Rift)

Chocolate is the latest bizarre and insanely entertaining VR experience from Tyler Hurd. It drops you into a funky music video that’s filled with cats and drowns you in the furry critters until you can’t take it anymore. Be prepared for cutesy eyes, surreal landscapes, and maximum d’aaaaaaw.

Recommendation: Definitely worth picking this up. Read our thoughts.

Out of Ammo: Death Drive, from RocketWerkz
Price: $14.99 (Rift)

Dean Hall’s RocketWerkz is back with a surprise sequel to last year’s Out of Ammo. Death Drive gives you another zombie-killing campaign mixed with strategic base-building elements. Scavenge environments for exotic weaponry and then have fun blowing the enemies’ heads off with it.

Recommendation: If you liked the first Out of Ammo, you’ll probably dig this. We weren’t super-impressed though.

The SoulKeeper VR, from HELM Systems
Price: $39.99 (Rift, currently discounted)

A long-awaited VR RPG finally makes its way into Early Access for Rift and Vive this week. SoulKeeper will have you summoning spells to fight off fantastical enemies. Graphically this is one of the better looking VR games out there at the minute.

Recommendation: This one’s worth grabbing even in Early Access, but be prepared for some Early Access performance problems while things are worked out.

    Please don’t support Oculus.

Palmer ‘alt-right’ Luckey owns Facebook shares from the sale of Oculus. If Oculus does well then Facebook’s share price increases.

Google ‘Oculus, the alt-right and Trump’

GTFO. Don’t care about Palmer and Trump. He can support who he wants, and trump is no worse than Killary you hypocritical tit.

Alt-right is no more dirty a word than Alt-left you self righteous SJW douche (been reading too much MSM; your brain has gone)

BTW this ‘news’ is at least a year old, you only just found out? lol. Nobody cares only brain dead libs with too much time on their hands who are attempting to change reality via lots of crying.
