The Biggest Rift, Vive and Windows VR Releases Of The Week 07/01/18

The summer sales are just about coming to a close, so hopefully the VR content drought is soon to end. That is to say there really isn’t much to talk about in the way of new releases this week. There are a handful of interesting games to take a look at, though.

Camp Grizzly, from Blacksmith Studios
Price: $7.99 (Rift, Vive)

Who says VR is out of ideas? In Camp Grizzly, you must keep a group of kids entertained for as long as possible with your guitar. If a kid gets bored, it runs off and never comes back. Oh, also there’s a bear that will eat you if you don’t fend it off with a torch. See? There’s plenty of whacky games still to be discovered.

18 Floors, from Aoga Tech
Price: $14.99 (Rift, Vive)

This is a spooky-looking episodic puzzle game. This includes the first two levels of a proposed 18-mission series in which you try and solve a galactic conspiracy and prevent humanity’s plan to kill a race of special beings. Look, I dunno, I’m just going with what the descriptions give me, okay?

Vivez Versailles, from makemepulse
Price: Free (Rift, Vive)

This looks like a pretty great historical VR experience. It takes you to the Palace of Versailles in France to witness two historical events that took place in the building. You can explore the palace at your leisure and even take part in the famous masked ball held in its walls. Plus it’s free, and you can’t argue with that.
