To The Top Adds Cooperative And Competitive Multiplayer Modes In Free Update

To The Top is one of our favorite VR games of 2017 and it’s only getting bigger and better going forward.

This month developer Electric Hat Games released a huge new update for the game, which sees players using their hands to clamber through environments as quickly as possible. Above all else, the update adds both competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes, allowing you to race your friends in VR with the game’s innovative locomotion system.

Included in the update are 25 multiplayer levels in which you can race with others or work together to create shortcuts within maps. Matches support up to eight players and co-op levels include a new ability to place objects that will allow you to get around maps in innovative new ways.

Single-player fans aren’t missed out in this update, though. There are also five new campaign levels to climb and leap through and, of course, a range of bug fixes for the existing content. Check out specifics in the video above.

To The Top costs $24.99 and is available on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and now the new Windows-based Mixed Reality VR headsets. If you haven’t already picked it up we recommend check it out; we gave it 9/10 in our review.
