Hours after Unreal announced they would be making their engine free to use for developers, Unity tweeted out a link teasing the release of “something awesome”:

Unity is keeping their lips tightly shut for the moment as to what the announcement may be, but speculation on Twitter is that their announcement might be along the same lines as Unreal’s creating a free engine to help foster the development of indie games and VR.
