The UploadVR editorial team is growing, and we’re currently looking to hire a full time Social Manager.
In this role, you will be part of the public face of UploadVR. You will manage our social media accounts, be active in the community, and help drive UploadVR into the future. You will participate in live streams, social VR experiences, and represent UploadVR at industry events.
Specific Tasks:
- Be active on the UploadVR social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and any others.
- Be involved in live streams by delivering game codes to the chat, sharing out the stream on social media channels, and help maintain communication with streamers/viewers.
- As new articles are published on UploadVR site, you will share them out to social media channels, and respond to any questions or comments.
- Stream! Initiate your own streams under the UploadVR banner. Invite team members to participate and share with the community.
- Attend conferences and expos when needed, gather industry news, live stream to the community, and maintain social media channels during these events. Be available to assist in setup and production of recording interviews and game play.
- When appropriate, contribute content to the UploadVR site in the form of articles, reviews, etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience and working knowledge of the virtual and augmented reality industry.
- An understanding of SEO and the social media landscape.
- Video, audio, and streaming skills.
- Proven engagement with the VR/AR community, with emphasis on growing an audience.
- Flexible schedule is a must.
The UploadVR team is 100% work from home, so this is a remote position. Based on the calendar of industry events, this position will require frequent travel.
