The next game from the makers of Arizona Sunshine is right around the corner.
Skyworld, the new tabletop strategy game from Vertigo Games, is launching on November 17th, the developer confirmed in a tweet this week. That’s the same day that Microsoft launches its Windows VR platform, which the game will be appearing on alongside the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. You can currently pre-order the game for a 25% discount of $29.99 on Steam and the Oculus Store. The regular price is $39.99.

Branching out from the zombie-shooting action of Arizona Sunshine, Skyworld sees Vertigo try its hand at both real-time and turn-based strategy. Set in a fantasy world with a toy-like aesthetic, you command armies in huge campaigns both in single and multiplayer modes.
If you’re interested in trying the game out before picking it up then you might want to sign up for the closed beta set to run over October 6th – 8th.
We’ll have more on Skyworld for launch, so check back soon. Until then, check out our most recent preview of the game.
