We loved Charm Games’ puzzler Form when it launched on the HTC Vive in June, praising its atmosphere, puzzles, and environmental design. Sadly, it was only properly optimized for Vive, meaning Oculus Rift owners had to either sit it out or endure stiff controls. From today, though, Rift owners can finally enjoy the first-person adventure the right way with its launch on the platform.
Set in an Arctic research facility, Form tells the story of Dr. Devin Eli and the surreal puzzles created by his dreams and fears. The puzzles you’ll encounter are some of the most fantastic things you’ll observe in VR, as shapes bends and fold in front of you in amazing ways.
The Rift version will feature the same campaign, which can be completed in about 40 minutes, but also adds Cortex Mode. This new feature allows you to explore the game’s soothing soundtrack in four different environments. It’s nice to have a little extra to play with considering the main campaign is so short.
You can check out our review of the Vive version here. It’s priced at $14.99 and on sale for $11.99 for the next week, so make sure you don’t miss out on it.
